Q> The ground water contaminant concentrations increased after the injection. What happened?

A> Injecting a fluid into contaminated soil can flush contaminants from the soil into the ground water. Microbes can also act as a surfactant and strip contaminants from where they adhere to soil particles. You should continue treatment to degrade the contaminants in ground water.
