Q> If I have used potassium permanganate to treat ground water, can I follow up with CL-Out or Petrox microbes to treat residual contamination?

A> Yes, both CL-Out and Petrox have been tested for their tolerance to potassium permanganate and other oxidizers. Laboratory tests have shown that the strains of bacteria in CL-Out and Petrox can tolerate up to 0.5% concentrations of potassium permanganate. This means that you can apply CL-Out or Petrox following or during potassium permanganate treatments.
