An All-Natural Product

Petrox-EC contains a highly-concentrated solution of live, patented strains of Pseudomonas organisms that occur naturally in the earth’s ecosystem. These cultures are free of pathogens and there is no artificial mutation or genetic engineering involved. Extracted from a once-contaminated site and isolated under controlled laboratory conditions, these “hungry bacteria®” have only one purpose in life: to seek and destroy petroleum hydrocarbons, organic solvents, and semi-volatile hydrocarbons at their source, and then quickly convert them into harmless, naturally recyclable by-products.

Applications

Petrox-EC is intended to degrade minor petroleum hydrocarbon spills. In addition, Petrox-EC eliminates slippery build-up and remediates chemical contamination on surfaces. Its pH is neutral and will not degrade or etch concrete.

Petrox-EC is sent as a liquid material in 2.5 gallon containers. Add 1 to 4 ounces of the concentrate per gallon of water for the usable solution.

Regulatory Acceptance

Petrox-EC was formulated in partnership with the U.S. EPA’s Design for the Environment (DfE), which is a voluntary program that allows individuals to compare and improve their existing performance, human health, and environmental risks with alternative products, processes, and practices.
