Petrox Remediation of Leaking Underground Storage Tanks (USTs)
Petrox is widely used to remediate soil and ground water contaminated by fuels and chemicals leaking from underground storage tanks (USTs). In many cases the UST removal contractor will treat residual contamination in the excavation after the leaking UST is removed. The effects of Petrox aerobic bioremediation can be seen in the ground water down gradient of the UST.
The following examples show the results of a single application of Petrox to the excavation after the UST has been removed.
